It all began 40 years ago when a young Quebec mother of 5 boys, disappointed with the choices of products to decorate her home, decided to do something about it. Her name was Sylvia Leibner. Her idea was to focus entirely on the home and provide the finest quality, selection and service at the guaranteed lowest prices. That vision, embodied by Linen Chest's original founder and continued by her sons, was finally realized in 1961 with the opening of its first store on Queen Mary Rd. Through the years, Linen Chest established itself as an institution in the Home Decor field with a total of 19 stores as of today and many more to come. As we continue to grow, Linen Chest is fully committed to continue to get better in every way so that we can best serve our customers in the manner our founder envisioned and the way they deserve!
