Merchandise Associate - Hudson's Bay

Role Mandate:

You are a creative individual who understands current styling trends and can interpret them to meet the Company's in-store marketing strategy. In a performance driven culture, you have strong organizational skills, a high regard for order and quality and are able to work with a minimum level of supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver the highest level of store fashionability through the execution of monthly visual presentations and in store marketing guidelines
• Execute marketing objectives: event set-up, shop set-up and seasonal set-up
• Responsible for creating the store's atmosphere and ease of shopping
• Interpret business objectives in a creative, fresh way in accordance with Company strategies
• Organize workload to complete tasks efficiently and neatly

Major Home Fashion Sales Associate - Hudson's Bay

Role Mandate:


The Major Home Fashions Sales Associate is an exceptional salesperson who is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, which drives results and enhances the customer experience. The Sales Associate will be able to understand and anticipate customer needs and deliver upon them.
The Major Home Fashion associate excels at executing the Customer Service Strategy and delivering sales results, with communication of product features and benefits, and fashion trends knowledge to the customer.

Responsibilities: 


• Engage and interact with customers in accordance with the G.R.E.A.T. (Get Ready, Engage, Add Value and Transact) service model
• Demonstrates the skills, knowledge and behaviors that will demonstrate ultimate customer service standards
• Build client base through the Preferred Customer Program
• Resolve customer issue at first point of contact
• Adheres to all Company policies, procedures and Code of Conduct
• Promotes the company’s HBC credit and loyalty programs and achieves targets
• Maintains a professional and productive work environment
• Complete Point of Sale transaction documents accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor 

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in both written and oral English
• Self-motivated, adaptable and decisive 
• Proven sales track record, detail-oriented, client-focused, and experience building a client book
• Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service
• Ability to respond to customers, co-workers, and management in a professional and courteous manner

The Sales Associate is accountable for delivering service excellence which drives results and enhances the customer experience. The Sales Associate will excel at executing the Customer Service Strategy and delivering sales results, through their communication of trend and fashion knowledge to the customer.
 
Responsibilities:

• Engage and interact with customers in accordance with the G.R.E.A.T. (Get Ready, Engage, Add Value and Transact) service model
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas
• Promotes the company’s HBC credit and loyalty programs and achieves targets
• Maintains a professional and productive work environment
• Process all Point of Sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor 
 
Qualifications:

• 2-5 years’ experience in retail industry
• Experience dealing with customers
• Great communications skills both written and verbal
• Great listening skills
• Fast learner
• Able to follow instructions and guidelines
